Lots of amazing people are doing innovative work in the field of women's issues, complexity, and/or both! Below are a few people in their fields, with a short summary of their field of research.

MEDICINE

* Dr Eileen Hoffman MD FACP - internist and leading specialist in women's health. She is a pioneer in the field of gender-based medicine and has integrated medical, reproductive, and mental healthcare for both women and men, across all stages of life. She is an active member with the Plexus group.

* Dr Jennifer Potter MD FACP - internal medicine specialist in women's health at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Center of Excellence in Women's Health. She was recently involved in discussions around the role of AIDS prevention in vulnerable women, and risk reduction.

* Dr Beth Abramson MD FRCP(C) FACC - Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the University of Toronto, clinical cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Prevention Centre, and spokesperson for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Dr Abramson has a keen interest in ongoing public education and research related to Women's Health.
